How to ‘crab’ a Plane

Thankfully, most pilots are quite good at their jobs and this manoeuver is surprisingly common.

Otherwise known as a crosswind landing, planes are sometimes forced to do this when the wind direction is perpendicular to the runway’s direction.

It looks pretty darn scary to us.
